Terms and Conditions for the Free Travel Insurance Plan Promotion

  1. This promotion program ("Promotion") is organized by FWD Financial Limited ("FWD Financial"). This program is available on a limited basis, FWD Financial reserves the right to terminate the acceptance or processing of this program application at any time without prior notice and explanation. FWD Financial may terminate the acceptance of application at any time during the processing of your application without further notice.

  2. Free Travel Insurance Plan is applicable to trips between July 1, 2023, and December 29, 2024 (inclusive of both dates).

  3. Each participant must meet the following conditions to participate in this Promotion ("Eligible Participants"):

    1. Aged 18 or above and holding a valid Hong Kong Identity Card; and

    2. Successfully submit the form with the name on Hong Kong Identity Card, valid Hong Kong mobile phone number, and email address during the promotion period listed on the redemption form.

    3. Not an existing or former customer of any FWD insurance plan on and before the date of registration for the free travel insurance plan (unless otherwise specified);

  4. Free Travel Insurance Plan cannot be modified, returned, transferred/resold, exchanged for cash, or redeemed for other offers by Eligible Participants. No replacement will be issued if the Free Travel Insurance Plan is lost, invalidated, or expired for any reason.

  5. FWD Financial will notify Eligible Participants of Free Travel Insurance Plan redemption details via SMS or email within 14 days after successfully submitting the enrollment form. Eligible Participants must fill in the correct contact information to receive the redemption notification.

  6. Eligible Participants must complete and submit "Free Travel Insurance Plan" redemption form seven days before the departure date of the trip. They will receive the Policy Certificate via SMS or email within seven days after successful registration for redemption.

  7. Free travel insurance plan obtained in this promotion is bolttech Travel Insurance Plan B (with a maximum coverage of 7 days), and the coverage scope, terms and conditions, or other details can be found in the plan terms. This coverage is only applicable to trips departing from and returning to Hong Kong, with an age limit of 18 to 70 years old.

  8. Free Travel Insurance Plan is underwritten by bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited ("bolttech Insurance") and is fully responsible for all coverage and compensation matters. FWD Financial Limited ('FWD Financial') (License Number: FA2568) is an insurance agent appointed by bolttech Insurance and policy holder of this Free Travel Insurance Plan.

  9. The insured person cannot be covered by more than one travel insurance plan for the same trip. If more than one such policy is issued to the insured person, Free Travel Insurance Plan will automatically become invalid.

  10. FWD Financial reserves the right of final decision on the following items:

    1. Modification of terms and conditions;

    2. Confiscation, cancellation, and refusal of any participant's eligibility without providing any reason or rationale; and

    3. Changing, suspending, or terminating this promotion without further notice.

  11. Participants' participation and redemption of this promotion are deemed to understand and agree to:

    1. Must be aged 18 or above and holding a valid Hong Kong Identity Card to participate in this promotion;

    2. The terms and conditions of this promotion;

    3. bolttech Insurance's Personal Information Collection Statement, FWD Financial’s Privacy Policy, and Personal Information Collection Statement, and agree to bolttech Insurance and FWD Financial using the personal information submitted in the form below for processing purposes related to this promotion;

    4. Agree to bolttech Insurance and FWD Financial using and transferring personal information for direct marketing purposes and receiving promotional messages or information according to the Personal Information Collection Statement; and

    5. Have agreed to read bolttech Insurance's plan terms before using the relevant product; and

    6. The information provided above is true, complete, and accurate, and is filled in to the best of my knowledge and belief. If there is any fraud or false information, the policy will be invalidated; and

    7. To the best of my knowledge and belief, none of the insured persons will violate the doctor's instructions or travel solely for medical services. I clearly understand that any existing, recurrent, or congenital diseases are not covered. I am not aware of any circumstances or accidents that may cause the planned trip to be canceled or shortened.

  1. In case of any dispute, FWD Financial reserves the right of final decision.

  2. This promotion is only for participants in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and cannot be interpreted as selling, soliciting purchases, or providing FWD Financial's insurance products or services outside Hong Kong.

  3. FWD Financial does not accept any third party representing any participant or eligible participant in handling any matters related to this promotion.
